DSM: from Feed to Fork
27-4-2010A growing number of DSM business units, each with their specific products and expertise, but all targeted at the poultry and egg industry, are combining their efforts. With their shared focus on health and safety, for animals as well as consumers, they can together serve the industry throughout the value chain, from feed to fork.
The products and services offered by these DSM business units vary from feed additives to antimicrobial coatings and from protein hydrolysates for poultry meat seasoning to brain food with cognitive features, but also include food grade preservation systems to increase shelf life, antibiotics, various diagnostic products and of course Premi®Test, OVN® Optimum Vitamin Nutrition and the MAXAPAL® egg processing enzymes.
By combining their efforts, the DSM business units involved strive to work on new projects specifically targeted at food safety, traceability, carbon footprint reduction as well as sustainability. Most important, however, is feeding the world population with high quality and value protein rich products.
